Title: 2.0tdi 140 remap question
Post by: connery tdi on February 27, 2014, 06:59:25 pm
Evening all,

Just wondering if there is anyway of seeing if my car is remapped other than RR? My car feels like it has loads of power and pulls like a train compared to what I was expecting.

Thanks in advance.

You can check with VCDS as well by logging MAF in g/s and boost pressure, as well as injector quantities and duration and comparing to that of a known car.
If you don't know what you're looking for, best to get a dyno.

Was looking at getting AMD Essex to change my cam belt and water pump, maybe I will get them to RR too.

Here's a dyno printout from AMD on with a stock 1.9 TDI.

So I should expect at least 600bhp!
Is that you saying an RR at AMD is pointless?
I have a place round the corner from me called red line. Maybe I will try them.
