so today i shorted out cigar lighter by accident ! then went to change the fuse and couldnt find handbook i think i must have put a fuse back in wrong place ! but found cigar lighter one and changed ! now the car is in limp mode with epc light on and engine light with a airbag fault!!! aND the rear brake lights are on all the time ! handbook is now found but not very usefull !! anyone have any idea s
or anyone near north london enfield/ southgate area! know where i can get car plugged in to read fault codes !!
so any ideas OR help much aprrciated !

First of all remove the fuse that you've put in the wrong place.

Get the correct fuse layout diagram - (try and find one online although I think it's in the handbook?) - and go through each one to check they're all correct. Then check for blown ones and replace.
Finally you'll need vcds to clear the fault codes.

thanks ill take a look! ! ! ! ! ! gonna take a pic of a mates fuse boxes i think lol and look at them
maybe brake light switch too but hard to understand from fuses!

found a fault code with nexus 7 and torque pro app! via obd2
p2294 fuel pressure regulater 2 control unit
im sure that was on before even ages ago when got the car mapped
anyone know what that is anyway

Quick tip. If ever removing any fuses always take a picture of the fuse box with a good camera. That way you can always print out the picture for reference. :happy2:
