Hey everyone.
I have a 2006 Leon and am looking to upgrade my stereo to a rcd310, not a massive upgrade but am just looking to have aux.
I understand I need a new can gateway but how do I know what one to buy? I have heard of different letters being a marker in the part number. Is this number towardsthe start or end of the part number?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Get your post count up and contact Eddie-NL, he will be able to provide you with one

With a can gateway? Howmuch do they go for?
And thanks for the reply.
-
Yep. Can't remember how much but Eddie can provide them both uncoded and coded. If you don't have access to VCDS i would suggest getting the latter as it will be plug and play with no coding required.

Didn't know it was possible to get them pre coded. That would be amazing! Although I hear they are a pain in the butt to fit :signLOL:

Not sure where it will be on the Leon, might be worth asking on SCN
On the 2006 Golf the Gateway will be in one of two places, either behind the coin tray under the light switch or if you're really unlucky, right under the dash. The latter is a right PITA to get to - trust me!

From what i have seen on SCN i think it is the later! :scared:

Anyone know if a 7N0907530J would work?
