My rear center-left sensor is apparently broken, its giving me constant beeps always when backing up. Its coming up as "short to plus" - fault. Has anyone had to replace one? Are the ebay sensors ok to go for? And does anyone know the part number for it, there seems to be a couple of different kind of sensors available and not sure which one to go for. I dont like to remove the bumber first just to check what kind of sensor it is... thanks.

Could easily be either so this may help!
If it's a harness issue part number 1K6 971 104 E - £72:13
If it's a sensor issue part number 3D0 998 275 A - £86:24
Both items full retail inc vat
However, this is cheap enough to try

Thanks for the tip! Might aswell find me a new sensor before removing the bumper, I can repair the harness but not the sensor. Glad their not that expensive.

It's pretty much always a sensor issue to be honest. I bought 2 off that seller on eBay and they work a treat!

I bought one from same seller. Worked out great. However before changing the sensor I checked the fault codes and in the mean time second sensor had failed :( I just placed an order for another. I wonder what is breaking inside these units.. Well Im pretty fast now in removing the rear bumber!
