Why do Russians want war all the time?!
Yeah right as if Russians were in war for past 15 years with "terrorism" ...

It's a different scale to invading another country though..

Not exactly simple as it sound ... 70% population in Crimea are Russians and unitil 1954 this was part of Russia given to Ukraine which then was part of Soviet Union.
So not really a simple as "invasion" of another country.

There's better ways of going about it than sending a load of troops in though.. Don't you agree?..
EDIT: I do believe that the voices of the Russian speakers in Crimea need to be listened to though.

To be honest they do not need to send any troops in as they have Blacksee fleet base in Crimea region ...
As simple as this crisis look we are not told about bigger more important part of this story.
If not Russians Crimea region will be very poor as Russia is driving financial sponsor for them, military base and turism mainly from Russia make Crimea one of the richest part of Ukraine.

BBC news:
14:17: More from US Secretary of State John Kerry, who has just appeared on the CBS programme Face the Nation. He says Russia has committed an "incredible act of aggression" in Ukraine, and threatened "very serious repercussions" from the United States and other countries, including sanctions.

HUGE oversimplification.....have friends working out there and visited simperofol many times.....
Same as Kazakhstan USSR moved native people North and filled the country with non native oil and coal workers. Why? Because they could and did what they wanted. 10% of people living in Astana are Kazakhs
Now its Putin to the rescue- Bollox ! Black Sea access simple.
Best thing for Ukraine is for it to split peacefully, East and west, No tanks! no civil war, no deaths.

Well yes so Russia can sail out of Krasnodar, they just won't be able sail back in if it kicked off. They also don't have a dry dock outside of the Ukraine...
It just gets me that some bent politician in Ukraine sends all the money to Geneva for "safekeeping", people are getting shot in the street by the army, Putin sends in unmarked paratroops to take over the equivalent of Heathrow and Gatwick, USA threatens sanctions probably via the UN yet its Obama who's the asshole....
You've missed the whole issue on the Crimea and Putin but didn't miss the opportunity to have a crack at the US, if Putin had his black clad paratroops at the end of your road following a surprise invasion it wouldn't be long before you were asking where the hell the yanks were I'm guessing....

*WARNING* WILL CHALLENGE YOUR CURRENT MAINSTREAM VIEWS
Worthy listen from 21 minutes :chicken:
This scenario has been played out all over the middle east so far. Send in the bad guys, sanctions made, UN inspectors sent in, private central bank established....job done :congrats:

Thats a bit heavy Horatio,I am getting through it but you would have to take the facts and see how true they are,I do know that governments are dodgy, people do not realise how close this could be to ww3
-
I don't really know what's going on.
But we should not get involved with the military. Russia is a super power equal to the US.
