Title: Rns510 versionB battery drain?

Hi guys
Just got one if these to replace my mfd2
It's a version B,from my understanding I won't have battery drain issues with this version?i have a 06 plate R32
Or is it the firmware that decides if it drains or not?
Just waiting on my fakra adapter to come before I fit it
Any usefull info regarding this would be much appreciated ie what firmware would be suitable for my 06 plate

Hello mate I am totally sure about the battery drain issue, but i believe Golfs built pre 08 are affected by battery drain.
