Post by: berg on March 03, 2014, 12:01:19 pm
Not warmed to is so far but looked  on TG last night, am starting to wonder whether would prefer one of those to the P1

I reckon I would go for the Porsche, seems to have everything the P1 does and all the added extras!!  :happy2:

It looks boring. Like any other porsche. The P1 is batmobile territory...  :pomppomp:

Why deny yourself the pleasure. I'd have one of either.

Both cars are pure genius. But p1 for me, not too keen on the 918 :P

Haha spot on.

Plus the mclaren will most likely break down as the mp12c hasn't exactly been the most reliable car, so for those instances the rich barstewardss will have the Porsche to fall back on.

It saddens me to hear the 12c isn't reliable (not that I'd be in the position to own one any time soon, or ever), the shear attention to detail that goes into making those babies... there's a great vid on youtube about the whole process; about 40 minutes long.

Here's the vid for anyone who's interested:

Ive only just watched TG from last week, I love the Porsche, and as much as I love the Mclaren as well, it would be the Porsche all day long for me, Im just a Porsche man.

The Golf got a good write up, and he really didn't like the M135i, its funniy how cars seems to go in and out of favour with car journo's??

JC seemed to love the 35i until it bit him in the ass, lol... probably no esp/traction 120mph+ soaking wet track, standing water, short wheelbase RWD...

There's also the fact that he'd been twatting around the track in it all day, wearing the tyres bald before having a drag race in deep standing water...
