Title: Anyone watch Top Gear last night? M135i vs MK7 Golf GTI

Good review by Jeremy Clarkson but surely it would've been better if it was M135i vs MK7 Golf R?

Exactly,they were using the top of the range BMW,so in fairness they should have used the R.

Still it was a good result for the Golf. :congrats:

M135i is in same class as GTI. 1/2M would be comparable to the R.

The GTI's 'like for like' market rival is the 125i.

M135i is in same class as GTI. 1/2M would be comparable to the R.

^^^1/2M are Coupes, this was a hot hatch showdown. M135i vs Golf R would've have more appropriate :)
