Electric rear windows were an option only on the 5 door S model. All other models seem to have electric windows as standard.

Depends on the year doesn't it? They changed the spec a couple of times

Also the Sport doesn't have rear electrics either IIRC

My mates sport does.

I know 3 people with SEs (2 friends and myself) and none of us had electric windows.
One had 55mm struts though..... and one had a cream/beige rear view mirror and mine was black.. odd...

Yeah fair enough it depends on the year the later SEs had them standard but didn't think the Sport did

The VW brochure archive comes in handy for this sort of thing http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/assets/common/pdf/brochures/old-brochure/Golf/Golf-March-2006.pdf
