Title: Number plate LED Bulbs Seat Leon CUPRA TFSi

Do you need to fit special LED bulbs in the number plates or do any old fashion work ? A while back when I was shopping for an LC , a car I went to view had the LED bulbs however it displayed on the dash to say theres a light out. He also mentioned that you had to get special ones as well as any odd ones didnt work because I noticed these were really bright even in the day time. Another thing is that would strobes work in there ? I was thinking to put one normal LED bulb in the number reg and strobe i nthe second port

Can anyone advise?

If you get a bulb out error on your car when you remove a bulb on your car can you need Cambus or error-free bulbs. As for the strobe light on the car it might be illegal.
