Hi all,
just noticed these marks on my bonnet. Ive given it a little polish and its done nothing. I can't feel anything on the bonnet so its like its under the clear coat. I've had the car a few months and washed it a good few times and not noticed the marks before. Any advice would be hugely appreciated
Thanks luke

Looks like either a paint reaction or bird lime of some sort.
Try machine correcting the paint... a hand polish will do jack all.
-
I want to say salt... perhaps that's etched into the paint. However I could be wrong :ashamed:
-
Could poss be bird droppings, if left they can mark the paint. Fairly certain paint correction may do the trick but I'm just and enthusiast detailer so no doubt someone more qualified will be along.

I think its only happened in the last few days whatever it is. I've been washing the car fairly regular
-
I would wash, clay and polish the area.
-
It does look like bird sh!t that eaten into the lacquer, give it a goo polish
-
When was the car last in a body shop.
The marks come from poly sheeting being baked on a wet car.
I know because I've done it.
