see a pirelli advertised and the bloke claims he has build number 1 0f 222 this maybe true but how and where do i find my build number?
sorry if theres a thread already i couldnt find anything

He's telling porkies! The Pirelli didn't have a build number.

It is true that his is "one of 222", unless he directly implies it is the first one registered?

Yes, only 222 Pirelli Edition GTI Golfs were built/sold in the UK. Think there's less than 200 still on the road. Check the howmanyleft website. :happy2:

As everyone has correctly pointed out, only about 222 were sold in the UK and owners were not given build number plaques like ED30 owners

They are bloody rare though. Think I have only seen 2 others ever

Why have such a limited number of cars and not number them? It's mental. So mines prob one of the last as it's a 2009.
