Title: Somebody scraped my Golf!
Post by: tom619 on October 07, 2009, 10:57:34 am: Thats right, some a**hole scraped my golf and did a runner while it was parked in town.

I actually cried that day, its taken some of the paint off my door as well but my main concern is where its been pushed in 2 different places!

Anyway its on to looking for quotes now so does anyone know a good repair shop in leicestershire preferrably cheap lol?

Post by: stealthwolf on October 07, 2009, 11:41:27 am: MAte know how you feel. Returned to my car one day and saw a bit of red plastic wrapper stuck my rear drivers alloy. Went to peel it off and it turned out to be a thick layer of paint. Someone must've reversed into me and driven off. Superficial dmage to my paintwork too.

I returned to my Ed30 a couple of weeks ago to find someone have left a pretty sizeable dent in the back door of my car. Fortunately it was repairable for a fairly modest cost but the repair guy did say that someone had hit the door with a lot of force due to how the damage appeared!

Wish I had looked around to see if there were any cameras in the car park tbh to see if I could have found out who had done it!

Hope your car is back to normal soon :happy2:

Only taken a little bit of paint off the plastic door bits and selling it so not all that fussed now.

That's a good shout - I used a company called Dent Devils who have a Nationwide presence - they did an excellent job on my repair :happy2:
