G: no boost leak, and will last fine up to stage 2
-
Mine is stage 2 running 276bhp and a rev g for me
-
Do you want a ban?    :signLOL:
-
EVERYTHING ELSE IVE READ SAYS GET REV D ???
-
Revision G is your best bet, that is what everyone recommends?

REVISION G .... Still uses rubber solonaoid and is 40 quid

REVISION D ..... Uses a piston that will never wear ? and is 60 quid so must be the better surly ??

I'm K03 and running a Rev G and it is alot better than the D. The D leaks as it doesn't make a perfect seal and gets worse over time. Just get the G and check it at every service and change when needed
-
The G is still prone to tearing, I've gone back to a D.
In the past I advocated the G but not after this recent tear.

So your saying you love the D ?

Everyone even Niki at R-tech recommends a rev G valve.
If you want to buy a D then you can, it's a £40 part and takes 15 minutes to replace, i view it as a yearly consumable.
-
I bought the G valve as I read numerous time that people recommended it. I have no previous experience with them though so I couldn't really say any more than that.
Just a small question though, do I NEED blue locktite when installing the new DV though?
-
If you have a K03 based car, then take the DV as being a serviceable item. Check every year and replace if necessary. The K03 have the DV sat on the turbo so goes through many hot and cold cycles whilst having oil sprayed on it through the turbo. Rubber and oil and heat don't mix well and then the valve tears.

It went on the Dyno and ran fine with the D.

My Ed30 is still boosting hard on the REVISION C!! :P
Not bad for 66k miles.
