I'm looking at bucket seats for my eddy, what's people's opinions on aftermarket buckets? Is there anyone on here that makes sub frames and sliders?

If you go for aftermarket seats try to stick with Recaro or Sparco as they will have interchangeable runners say you buy a new car you can keep the seats with you.

i got a spare set of sparco subframes brand new which i would sale!

allthough a subframe would be a piece of p*ss to make for the mk5 as the floor mounts are all flat

I'd say Sparco. Universal seat mounts are available for them. What harnesses are you planning on?

Buy Mr Motorsports, if not there are some FIA Sparco Mk5 Sliders on eBay....

i have those same subframes for sale! but no runners with mine! runners are universal though and any will work.. doesnt need to be sparco

I've rear your thread....several times! And it's your seats and steering wheel that had made me think I need buckets in my life again  :P

How much would you want for your subframes?

I'd go for sparco or omp 3 point 3" straps :happy2:
Not sure about fitting the omp Corsica deep dish yet as still undecided lol.
