Title: Heathrow
Post by: stealthwolf on March 13, 2014, 06:18:41 pm
Has anyone tried the long term car park at Heathrow recently? Thinking about parking there when I head off next week.
What about companies like Purple Parking?

Where abouts are you going from, with all the thefts/break ins that happen at airport car parks I'd consider using a rail/bus replacement like RailAir.

No problem to use the parking, use the official airport parking site. Great deals if pre booked weeks in advance.

Long stay iirc is further out but it's only a 5 min shuttle to the terminals.

used the official BAA one last year when i went to NYC.
Very easy, secure and onsite. Buses every few minutes to terminal.
Drive up, park and go.

Go with the official onsite long term parking, I found it to be safe and secure.

Agree with the official BAA parking suggestions. Only a little bit more, but more secure and you keep the keys, unlike a lot of the others. You can park right next to the terminal for a bit more money. When I went to the States for 10 days last year it was about £35-40 more than the standard peri track parking.
