I know Oakley used to make all of their sunglasses in the US of A and the frames were marked stating that, however i bought some Oakley Crosshair 2 sunglasses last year whilst on holiday in Mexico (genuine Oakley store) and the frame says China.
Those who have bought Oakley sunglasses with in the last 12 months could you check your frame and let me know where yours were made.

Just checked my Oakley Buckets and they don't say where they were made, probably Timbuktu knowing my luck
-
Checked my Jawbones and they say the USA
-
Really confused now. According to the various Oakley forums Oakley have started to make their frame in China but the frames are now labeled USA or assembled in USA instead of "made in USA" so the sunnies i have COULD be genuine. Or at least i hope so!
-
Mine say made in USA, bought from the Oakley store in Florida mall
-
Holbrooks - made in USA.
-
A couple of weeks ago x2 pairs both saying USA :signLOL:
-
Bought 2 pairs in Dubai the other day, both say made in USA
-
Damn it. Looks like i have been hoodwinked!
-
Does it really matter...
-
Halfwires - USA, razrwires - doesn't say
-
Flak jackets last week - doesn't say on the frames
-
My Jury's don't say anything about where they were made although the "Definition Optics" bag was made in China.
Mine were bought here from an authorised dealer.

Both I've bought last year from the Oakley Outlet in Gunwarf Quays say Made in USA.

Bought the sunnies from a Oakley store in Cancun last year but never wore them, it was a bit of an impulse purchase and as i hadn't worn them thought i would sell them on ebay. The chap who bought them accused me of knowingly selling fake sunnies and proceeded to turn three shades of mental so offered to refund the amount paid once he had returned the sunglasses. Checked the sunglasses and they are the ones i sold so can only assume the store i bought them from is not in fact a genuine store.
Apart from them saying Chine on the arm they are identical both in weight and feel to Crosshair 2.0 sunglasses i compared them with.

Aye, years ago I sent some back for a warranty repair only to be told they were fake. Fair enough when you've spent a fiver off some dude on a beach, not so much when being duped by a 'legit' shop.

After a couple of phone calls yesterday to Oakley UK, and a few photos by email, Oakley have confirmed the sunglasses are genuine.
Now to put them on ebay

That's good then!
