Anybody got any good theories
In all honesty i have no idea where it has gone , why you are allowed to disable the tracking in the first place is anyones guess.
1. But if its been hijacked by the pilots (working from info available ) , where are there families now ? Are they being held hostage by someone ?
2. If its landed somewhere ( did it have enough fuel to get to somalia ?) or another dodgy country
3. It maybe at the bottom of the Indian ocean ( but facts say its not under water) as this would have triggered the black box transponder
Surely they can track it from sattellite images
But as someone says , why is nobodys phone working ? But there has been reports of people phone ringing after the plane went missing

A) It's flew into a space/time loop hole and has travelled into 2114
B) It must of flew fairly low to avoid radar...
C) it's hit the water very slowly and sank... And had a faulty box?
D) ALIENS!

Very strange that any country it was over didn't pick it up on military or civil aviation radar and sent military planes to intercept or communicate with it, that might have happened and the country involved blew it out the sky thinking it was a threat and are keeping quiet about it

I use ACARS most days when Im working, if I want to make my Aircraft Invisible I can do it in 4 button presses......Civilian Air Traffic dont have a green screen with blips on anymore its all very clever Mode S databurst, static antennas....ATC now know which buttons I press at 43,000 feet
Hijacked, ran out of fuel, Hypoxic Crew, high speed impact.....if you're really bored and want to waste 3 hours of your life you will NEVER get back then have a read. Theres thoughts that it may be sat at an airport somewhere undetected.......
In which case the 240 Souls will either be
dead on board in which case it wont be going anywhere soon as it will be quite smelly
alive and the hijackers will be sorting 720 meals per day and a van full of water every 12 hours
dead in a pile 60 feet high visible by satellite or buried in a trench 150 meters long....

I dont think its at the bottom of the sea. Bits of the plane would float and its likely they would have been noticed.

I'm sure all planes are designed to be able to make a landing on water, despite the chances of it actually doing so being very very slim.

Sure pilots like Dave will do loads of flight sim training for strange landings like that

Lets say that the comms/nav went down.. why didnt the pilot turn back to land? There no way he would just keep flying and then make an emergency landing on water.
So either the pilots went mad and binned it... or it was hijacked and the hijackers binned it.

This is also puzzling me, some great theories there guys but in all honesty I can't see how a plane so big can just disappear nor how 2 people now days can get through security with fake passports?? With all the security how can this happen. The only theory is there's an inside party??? I just hope for the sake of all the families it's found with everyone safe!

They give you a life raft, they give you a safety card with ditching instructions but the chances of surviving a ditching and the aircraft being in one piece are practically NIL, Mr sully got it very very right on the Hudson and he was very very lucky that the wind was blowing in the right direction, we get "The sully" every year in the sim - if Im lucky i get it near the hudson
Indian ocean, middle of a moonless night, Hypoxic Crew, HUGE aircraft (Much bigger than the A320 on the hudson) pretty but useless cabin crew....
Oh and sharks - did I mention sharks....

If it was hijacked then it may have been the Flight Crew themselves, they may have been shot down, the Singaporean Air Force does not F**k about, theyve got Typhoons out of Changi that we're going all night last time I was there.....
People think all air carriers are safe - that part of the world is full of air carriers that should not be operating, they have major cultural differences that dont welcome the positive influence of expat western crew, same in China, Same in India, Same in Korea, Japan........they have huge cockpit gradients between captains and first officers which western airlines identified as a problem in the 70's and sorted out - pacific rim / eastern airlines not so
Korean air put one on its roof once a year! I could rattle off 10 carriers I would not fly on in a heartbeat

If they are hypoxic , why would it do a uturn ? Then turn at way points. Would that be auto pilot

There is a theory that the aircraft did turn back then headed west, we can Squark certain codes to ATC to let them know whats going "75" still alive (Hijack) "76" in a fix (Radio failure) "77" going to heaven (Imminent danger of death), we have two/three transponders each on its own "circuit" each circuit separate from the other driven by its own engine generator, T7 is fly by wire as well so its got MEGA redundancy in terms of systems, theyre also ETOPS designed (extended twin engined operations) or ( engines turn or passengers swim) so it can stay up there for 211 minutes and keep everybody alive ON ONE ENGINE....
To lose everything is interference, its just impossible to turn the lights out unless you want to

the maintenance on some of the domestic carriers in countries like China/Russia/India etc are shocking, I've worked on a few planes from these places and how they got off the ground I don't know, never mind landed safely. We had a 4 year old Chinese Bae 146 in and it was a right off and scrapped it was in such a state :scared:

I reckon it was something to do with the Uighur minority in Western China, the same lot who were responsible for the frenzied mass kniving attack at a Chinese railway station a couple of weeks ago. People always think 'no way, they're too small to dare do anything major like that' - exactly what people thought in the past until they were proved wrong - with 9/11.

They've apparently raided the pilots house. They are concentrating on 2 flight paths one towards Turkmenistan/Kazakhstan and another over the Indian Ocean. They reckon the last information they received was the plan was 1000miles from Perth and that it was between 25000 and 45000 and was at 36000 the last time they got data.
It is strange but if its been ditched in the Indian Ocean thats not gonna be easy to find

Who remembers that Polish airline plane a couple of years back with several senior Polish parliamentary members (including one of the main ministers IIRC?) that crashed and VERY very quickly, it was moved away from the media and we heard nothing more about it, the most significant thing being that Russia took direct control (Putin himself) of the investigation of which no major conclusions were drawn and publically aired?
Yeah...
Seems bit like that doesn't it, screams of a cover up of some sort.

The longer it goes on the stranger it gets, took them 2yrs or something to locate that Air France one a few years ago but they were always fairly confident of what had happened to it, this is a bit weird.
The American theory of it being taken for use later on as a weapon is quite scary but personally I wonder if there's been some sort of military intervention for example shot down by mistake or maybe collided with a new secret/stealth plane belonging to the Chinese so they'll try to divert any recovery operations as far away as possible until they've recovered their aircraft.

Some debris from the air france plane was was located in a couple of months it was 2years for the black boxes to be recovered iirc
