Title: Shark Fin Aerial

I'm after a shark fin aerial, must be a genuine part but I'm unsure what to get or what's needed. Has anyone done this mod?

To be honest it's more for the look so not bothered weather i can actually pick up all radio stations or not.

Any help appreciated. Thanks

The ones I would look at

FOR THE YEARS 2006-2007 :

WITH GPS : 1K0 035 507 K

WITHOUT GPS : 1J0 035 849 A

GPS BASE : 1K0 035 501

FOR THE YEAR 2008 :

WITH GPS : 3C0 035 507 A

WITHOUT GPS : 3C0 035 349 A

GPS BASE : 1K0 035 501 A


 The job is easy enough but a thin wall 22mm spanner is very helpful also the actual connector is taped to the curtain airbag!

That's a great help thank you. The dummy one is what I was after but now I'm thinking maybe I should do it properly.

You can get genuine ones I have one for GPS and telephone it's the mk6 style you will be able to see in my build thread. You will still one of the diversity aerial on the rear window it would be possible to fit the second one as well if you wanted.
