Post by: Woldddd on March 17, 2014, 09:51:31 pm
Hi guys, just wondering if anyone can be of help, I'm looking at getting gti seats for my 1.9tdi s, will they just be a straight swap including air bag plugs? My current seats aren't electric just standard manual adjustable ones, thanks

Depends on the year of the seat and the year of your car as they changed plugs around 2006.

I would try and find seats with the same plugs as it will save you the hassle BUT it is possible to swap the plugs over.

This is worth a read - if you go ahead there's a few issues explained with photographs.

Will be a straight swap.
MAY need slight wiring tweaks for airbag plugs of certain modical years but they will can and do fit :)
