I have 235/40/18 on ET44. I am standard height and I get rubbing on bumps, and full lock if I am not careful. If you are lowered at all, 235 will be too big on ET45.

I was rubbing on the fronts with 235 on 595 rsr tyres for abit, just wears the inside of your arches. I did Nurburgring fine in them.

Depends how low, and if you can camber the fronts, you sure can get more width.

235 40 18 PSCups on 8" ET47s. Used on track quite a bit, some nipping of the arches.
