simple thing is don't buy them or ask the seller to 100% prove the seats being sold are from a written off car or its fully legit. I can see police pulling cars over and asking people where did you get those seats from

why would you take these out of an rs4 to sell them if its your car  why don't the police contact these sellers and get them to prove how they cam about these seats and if they can't prove it take em off them
-

Collection from Wolverhampton just off juc 10 m6
Thanks for looking
No other parts for sale not braking the car just what's here
Xxxxxxxx call or text or mail me
See the police can't do anything unless they can prove they were stolen.... If I had them I'd be writing in UV ink all over them! Not that it won't wash off..... Hate things like this... But it can't be stopped.....
-
I dont get the fascination with those seats... just overpriced hype in my opinion.
-
would rather have a set of cs seats look better if you ask me

Which Audi were yours stolen from Jay? :scared: :signLOL:

Wonder if there was an option to buy back the seatless rs4 after it was written off.

It's amazing how many people go batsh*t crazy when a car gets stolen on here, "bring back hanging"..... yet will happily buy parts like this no questions asked. Where honestly do you think they've come from?
La la la la laaaa, I can't hear you.
-
Mine are stolen from a A5 S-line but they managed to steal the rears for me aswell.
-
Personally I'm hoping for some stolen Porsche seats!
-
Why write the car off? Could they not just replace with the std seats if the owner was happy with that or do they not make those anymore either?
-

The scene gays don't care. More money to pay for the 2-3k retrimming bill.
Anyway, pole positions FTW
-
Let em write it off, buy it back for waaay less and stick standard leather seats in! Don't see the issue
-
It seems bizarre. New seats £19k value of car £26k. Not sure how it all works but let's say buy it back for £7k get some 2nd hand seats and flog it for a load of money!
I'm sure that can't be right can it?

I'm sure it's wrong. New set of buckets from Audi is like 5-6k, 2hrs labour to fit, hardly a write off
-
It is when the dealership slings in a 'kick in the balls bid' to the insurance company off the back of it.

Exactly what I thought ! Where on earth they get 19 grand from is beyond me :scared:
-
It explains why in the article.
-
If I had an rs4 I would be getting those buggers welded into the chassis.

Well i must have missed something then. 20 hrs @ £132 is £2640
Obviously there are parts costs involved, but I can see them being 17 grands worth.
-
They're also smashing windows and ripping out the interior alarm sensors, plus I expect a lot of convertibles get targeted and end up needing a new roof. The £19K is probably the most damaged car, you know what the papers are like!
-
Therefore it doesn't explain properly why in the article does it.
-
my mate filled the bolt holes in with something earlier on his rs4 lol
