It's had a fair bit of work done and is in awesome condition for its age with fsh and only 63k on it we are pleased to say the least
Thanks for looking

:congrats: beautiful!!!
-
very nice indeed! remapped?
-
Yes mate, it's got forge twin take, fmic and decat plus stage 2+ remap to 274bhp from more bhp. Thanks for the comments people.
-
Nice car, white looks so well on the GTI, did you get a box to change maps from morebhp?
Also if you changed the blue coolant cap to a black one it would tidy your engine bay up :happy2:
Alex at AKS tuning had a group buy for the caps a short time ago, might be in the group buy section.
-
It was mapped before we picked it up mate so I don't know about the handheld, I'll have a look for the washer cap thanks for the heads up :)
-
Think this is the website for coolant and washer caps.

Looks brilliant, it was clearly well cared for by the previous owner and all the mods done very well.
-
You got any plans for this?
-
Looks good bro
Need to get pics of my CW up soon

We're looking for a set of 18 monza shadows to replace the bbs reps with as the mrs isn't too keen on them and she uses it as her daily while I'm down at work, and shed like the standard grill back on too with the red stripe but apart from that there's not really much I need to do. Got an airbag light problem coming from drivers seat, had a quick look and it seems the seat has had the connector cut off and been hard wired in so I need to look at that this weekend.
-
A far as i remember, that is how VW does the repair, there was a recall of some sort, for the earlier models...
Maybe just check over the wiring!
-
I've had a quick check I might just cut out the new wires and re solder them in and see if that works. Or I may get a new plug from vw and see if I can re wire them properly. As the airbag light won't go off :(
-
I've just read the vw repair for this and it would seem that they may have hard wired the wrong switching my car but I can't be sure as I'm 200miles away. But the one on mine that I've seen to be soldered is the one in the floor not the one attached to the seat so I'll check that tomorrow when I get home
-
Really nice that mate, I dont usually like CW mk5's but yours looks spot on. :happy2:
-
Thanks mate, appreciate the comments
-
Colour looks excellent, what MPG are you getting?
-
The mrs says it's not too bad, she uses it everyday for work, I filled it up Monday before I came down south and she's used it tues, weds, and today and says the fuel gauge hasn't really moved that much maybe 1/8th of a tank. She does a 45mile a day commute.
-
135 miles to 1/8th of a tank is incredible going if correct....that's more like 1/3rd for me ...
Nice car :signLOL:
-
I've just looked at the tank and it's done around 220 mile to half a tank which I think is awesome considering the engine spec :)
-
Looks great in white.
