Title: Just fitted mk6 aux in mk5
Post by: DrG_GTi on March 21, 2014, 05:36:19 pm
Got thus from eBay http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=190859587792

Just fitted it to my mk5 gti, into the rns 510.  Took about 15mins.

Fits perfect and looks really good. Works as it should, totally recommend.

Welcome to the AUX In club.

Fitted the same kit a couple of months ago and for the price you really can't beat it.

Looks pretty neat. Would do similar but my 310 has front mounted aux already

I've fitted the same one, works perfectly, and the USB one is also very useful :happy2:

Wonder if the USB one could be retrofitted somewhere else! Would be good.

USB one requires the Delphi version of the RCD 510 I think, doesn't connect to the quadlock

I know it's not listed but would anyone know if this fits my RCD500?

Is it a silver button RCD 500? That was the distinguishing feature on the RCD 300 to determine whether or not it would support AUX, so might be the same.

My RCD500 does not have silver buttons, so probably not then  :sad1:

this looks good, went through the hassle of feeding my cable through the middle console and in through the arm rest storage but now the cable has got a dodge jack and I'm going to have to rip it all out again - nightmare!
