Title: DSG query on oil change

Hi all, i serviced my car yesterday but not sure if the dsg oil as been changed or not it's on 38k so about due, but in July 2012 the car had the mechatronics unit done under warranty, I have paper work for this but not a lot of info on it just that the unit was changed under warranty, would the oil of been changed when this job was under taken or should I be thinking about changing the dsg oil as well? I carnt see nothing in the service book either.

If it's not in the service book and you can't find proof.. Get it done.  :happy2:

It's every 40k so I doubt it's been done

Cheers mate, yea I think the price of a bit of oil and no proof of it being changed I'll get it done the weekend  :happy2:

When mine had mechatronics done they phoned me and asked if I'd pay for filter and 2ltr of oil or something and then I was good for another 40k was £47 I'm sure

Cheers mate I'll pop and get the bits tomorrow and do it the weekend, by the sounds of that it hasn't been done.
