I suspect I have a leaking metal valve on my wheel - can it be replaced with a rubber one or will only the metal ones work?
ELSA only states that the entire valve should be replaced at every tyre change - it doesn't mention anything about it being OK to substitute metal for normal rubber valves?

If you have the 'hollow tech' BBS Monza II wheel with part number suffix 'AH' then you can only fit the metal valve due to the hollow spokes.
Hope this helps!

So is there a replaceable valve inside or not?

There is a removable and replaceable conventional valve core inside them (just like on any Schrader valve - how else would they deflate the tyre before removal). The actual outer metal body does not need changing every tyre change - the only time they should be changed is if they've been removed from the wheel - say for refurb. Of course, if there are any actual leaks between the valve body and wheel - then change it.
