Title: Rusty Wheel Arches..Advice Please!

Hi

My GTI is suffering from both front wheel arches rusting, I have read about this alot on here, I visited the dealers, they said they would only cover 50% as goodwill, i also rang VW customer services, explained the situation to them they also said the same thing.

I have read of people getting this work done at not cost to them sevles, were do i stand with this, anybody had a similar outcome, please help.
