Title: Wrapping sides and lower bumper
Post by: xBERTOx on March 30, 2014, 06:53:32 pm
Just wondering if anyone has had their side skirts and lower rear bumper colour wrapped to match the car? Or does the textured finish mean it can only be painted? I love my silver car but the black plastic really annoys me

Ie never heard of anyone having them wrapped to match because of the texture, like you said.

It could possibly easier to get them smoothed and painted.

Yeah you won't be able to wrap em unless they are painted and smooth  :happy2:

Oh well, there goes my idea of a cheap solution. Should it be around £2-300 for the spraying?

I'm fairly sure more people get them done for less than £100.

Maybe try to smooth them yourself?

For Rear Bumper and both Side Skirts, I think 2-300 is pretty much bang on for smoothing and painting.   :happy2:

Don't go for a cheap job, you'll prob regret it.

Ok thanks, I've never paid for a cheap paint job, the wife used to work for a company painting yachts so she knows quite a bit about it all. She'd kill me if I got a cheap job done
