This intermittent tappet noise could it be the timing slightly out as only comes on sometimes

Is it a GT TDI 170, if it is the timing can be adjusted slightly but i think its a job for VW or Indie.

yes it the gt tdi 170 with this intermittent problem trying to work out what is driving me mad

I'm starting to feel left out as the three GT TDI 170's i have had to date none have had issues after the injector recall. I remember there being a number of threads on Briskoda about advancing the timing but don't believe that resolved the issue.

Have had injectors done and gearbox ,dpf sensor reversing light on and off as we'll now not going very well though I do like the power just need to sort these probs out what else could it be thought of oil pump .?
