Iv done a search but Carnt find much on this and hope iv put it on the right section.
I'll be doing my DSG oil in the next few weeks and just wondering what oil to put in and the best place to get if from and a decent price because the oil isn't cheap on some sites.
Iv found this stuff but for a l.s.d, would this be no good in the box?
It's Castrol syntrax l.s.d SAE 75w140 synthetic SAFXJ.
Only other stuff I can find is Fuchs or obviously OEM.
Cheers in advance
Danny

IMO you should stick with the original VAG dsg oil. You'll need 6 litres.

Cheers mate, iv ordered the tool from America to do the job and have vcds to get the oil up to temp, just the oil I wasn't sure about, so basically a trip to VW and order 6 litres

You can do Measure-refill VW DSG fluid change procedure instead of the Factory method if doing it yourself.

Really . . . yankies cutting corners! What if the level prior to draining was incorrect?
