VW RNS 510 sat nav navigation ive been told it version A? MY MK5 GOLF GTI IS A 2004 just wondering if I would get battery drain from this or will I have to change my gateway?

It really depends on the firmware version it is running, if you can afford the extra get a Rev C (better screen, faster and larger hard drive) and a new gateway.
