Title: 5th gear clicking

Ok I've just came off the m5 and into bham city and my gti is making a clicking grind sound when I select 5th gear? Every other gear is fine! 6th to 5th its fine just 4th to 5th. Its came out of no where,my gti has jus 21k on the clock. Its goin into the dealer in the morning as its stil under warrenty

Ouch, just hope for a brand spanking new gearbox  :laugh:


Had a brand new engine after 4k miles in mine  :confused:

Well I will see what they say its at the dealers now! He did say mayb a two day job

Have you got a shocking courtesy car?  :laugh:

Gave me a 1.2 Polo when they said they were keeping the Eddy for 2 weeks. Plate suggested I was a B(N08) AMN (NOB)  :grin:

Lol they called me at work and told me they will strip out the gearbox so will need the car for a few days! No courtesy car tho lol they have none in stock so may have to steal my sisters 206 1.1 and be happy with its 60bhp(goodtimes)
