Title: Removing factory tints?

Viewing an 06 Gti tomorrow evening with rear factory tints, can these be removed?

Looks naff and a little chav, how much to replace two rear side windows? I can live with the hatch.

They're definitely not chav looking so, as mentioned above, these may be aftermarket.
