Title: New Chariot!
Post by: flyboy1976 on April 10, 2014, 05:42:45 pm
Picked up my new chariot last week....any thoughts?
Coded rain closing, cornering fogs, seatbelt chime removal updated nav and maps. Here she is:

That is a fine looking car though I would prefer it without black wheels. :happy2:

With the 18s ....surely not! 19inch Glendales are lovely looking and way better than the 18s I wasn't sure at first until you see them in the flesh

Well I didn't necessarily mean standard wheels or any particular size, it's just black wheels in general that I've never liked. I get why people do but for me they look like a missing feature.

Me too, black wheels make it look too gangstaaaa for me.

I thought you got rid of the Eddie cause you were hardly using it? Change of heart, could just not live without a Gti?

Looks stunning in black

Wasn't really a fan of these when they first came out but seen a few nicely modded ones, including the black 3dr at early edition

For me it definitely works better in certain colours and your black one is the colour I'd go for

What plans have you got lined up?

Dave

I wasn't sure on wheels neither was my brother but in the flesh they look ok. Its like the Edition 30 interior (I wasn't struck) but it grows on you.
No plans to be honest, as Berg said I didn't really use the Eddy so I wanted something different hence the DSG. I'm glad I went for one with full spec though. Still not sure about the park assist!  :driver:

Still not sure about the park assist!  :driver:

I've had mine almost 12 months now and have still yet to even try the park assist once!
