Title: My edition 30 Sounds like a diesel !

Hi just recently purchased my 07 ed30 gti ! The engine managment light has now come on and the engine sounds like a diesel when it gets warm !? Has anyone else had this problem if so what was the cause of it !? Thanks

Engine management light could be anything, and many of the GTi's sound like Diesels. That's quite common. The best thing you can do is get it plugged in and checked out.

Ha ha the tfsi is a petrol diesel hybrid welcome to the club !
