Right we'll I've had the car 3 weeks now and apart from just a simple wash a few times a week to keep bird crap off it this is the first chance I've got to give it a good going over. So I started Saturday morning and finished up yesterday afternoon. I will apologise straight off as I've taken no before or during shots as I just wanted to get it done so it only finished pictures.
Anyway started with full pre-rinse with Megs APC, then washed 2BM with AF lather, the entire car was then treated with AF iron out and AF oblitarate to remove and contaminants then it was onto clay AF fine clay used with AF glide over whole car including window. Then the car was given another quick rinse just to make sure all traces of iron out and tar remover were gone. Wheels also cleaned with iron out and Megs wheel cleaner. The wheels were just refurbed when I bought the car so very little cleaning was required as I'd been keeping them clean so far.
Then the car was stuck into the garage for the full works. The whole car was given a polish with the DA usings Megs MFN pads and polishing compound, then the paint was fully cleansed with AF tough coat. Once this was complete I then applied Gtechniq G1 to the glass giving 15mins to cure before buffing off 3coats to the windscreen 2coats to front side glass and one coat elsewhere. This is the first time I've used this product and I don't think I will again I think it would be easier to have 6 hands whilst trying to remove it it's a bit of a pig but works well when it rains.
Next up I applied one coat of AF tough coat to the paintwork and buffed off before giving up for the night.
Sunday morning saw the finally touches to the exterior one final coat of AF tough coat and 3 coats of poorboys wheel sealant applied to each wheel tyres dressed with Megs tyre shine. Then the interior was hoovered using various brushes to remove dirt and dust from tight areas then the seats cleaned with AF hide cleaner and cleansed with AF hide conditioner and interior glass given a clean up with Autoglym glass polish and then finally the exhaust tips were polished and sealed using britemax twins.
And that's it, here is a few pics to enjoy.

Yeah it's my girlfriends dad's garage, managed to convince him to have a clear out. Also whilst looking for a touch up kit found that the colour is actually called United Grey.

Not really he is keen on polishing but I wouldn't say detailer. His R32 is mint and always keeps it clean.
