Title: Anybody Purchased a Vag Com / Vcds Unit from eBay ?
Post by: V2 FAN on April 16, 2014, 12:58:18 am
Hey All,

I was looking to get someone to modify my settings on my Ed30 to allow for my alarm to chirp when set, as I am forever checking the car as I am used to hearing chirps on my other cars.

But then I see this http://goo.gl/rfSBn6

Anyone bought one of these? for £55 surely this too good a deal to miss

These are usually £300+  :stupid:

Feedback & concerns welcome  :happy2:

Non genuine use at own risk!

Might be fine however I feel its prob a £7 cable with cracked Ross tech software. And he's just bugging it up more.

Best place is Nigel at Vagcom.biz (http://www.vagcom.biz).

The website isn't up to much, but he's active on many VAG forums, sells cheaper than anyone else, is very legitimate, and a nice bloke to boot.

If its too good to be true then it more than likely is.

Good luck.

I totally agree, I've lived by this rule for many years. Guess I had a moment  :signLOL:

Hi Si,

I was hoping you would offer  :happy2:
Just an excuse to see that amazing R32

On a serious note, I'd certainly be happy to pop over to meet a fellow enthusiast  :happy2:

annoyingly the only days i'm free this weekend for a good chat and to do what you want is monday afternoon or tuesday, i am here friday but got a mate over and have a lot of work to do on his mk4 so will kinda be pushed, but if you only want chirp done then i can do it but probably won't be able to perhaps offer other stuff and have a good chin wag.

your also quite welcome to see my R32 but sadly right at the mo its hardly amaning

its got serious rust on drivers arch (being done soon)
its covered in dirt and things falling off the tree near it
it can't be started as the ABS unit is being messed about with by me which means sadly i don't think i'll be attending the lakeside meet in it

but the inside is lovely and clean if not missing half a ton of trim at the mo due to wire running

but thanks for the compliment lol
