Not had the car long but this is starting to bug me....
If the window is open about 2 inches and i try to close it, the window will only open all the way, then it will let me close it, once it's fully opened.
It only does this when it's open a small amount.
Am i missing a simple trick here?
Cheers
Chris

There's a way of resetting the memory of the window, if you open the window fully and hold the button down then fully close it, again holding the button, it should cure the problem
I was told it was something to do with the window motor remembering how you use it so should be better after a reset

Had the same problem a while ago and the above procedure would cure it for a while but the fault would eventually return. I ended up changing the door controller and its been fine since.

My driver side window does this from time to time too! It is so annoying. It doesn't seem to do it if the window is wet though, so I think in going to try some lubrication in the b pillar groove where the window slides up and see if that helps the situation...
