Title: Part Number for this bit of trim?
Post by: Georrge on April 20, 2014, 11:23:10 am: Does anyone know the part number for the bit of silver trim that goes above the glove box? Or have this bit of trim in immaculate condition for sale?
Mine has s small scratch & dent in it and it's the first thing I see every time I get into my car :sad1:

1K1 858 529 Z88 trim ( passenger side ) brushed stainless steel

New price £18:41 full retail inc vat from TPS or your VW dealer

1K1 = parts for LHD only
1K2 = parts for RHD only

Well done Ed, spotting that error of mine!

So if we assume he's got Aluminium engine spin

1K2 858 419 B 8B4 - price £41:24 full retail inc vat

The finish for the one in that auction is different to mine, that has tiny bobbles on it, mine is smoothed. Thanks a lot for the help!

It's the very last three digits after the part number what decides the finish!
