Title: Any1 fitted a reverse camera to a Kenwood Dnx520vbt??

As title really guys. Looking for some advice if any1 has done this? Also what cam etc to use

Put one in my mates T5.1 van, just any old generic PAL/NTSC one will do, if I recall it didn't even need to take power from the HU, just rear light loom, but running a video cable to the HU needs doing anyway.

Excuse my ignorance Skard, how does the head unit know when your reversing so it switches to cam mode?

The wiring is linked to the reverse light, so the camera is activated when reverse is selected  :happy2:

On that stereo I think it was connected to the rear reverse light for power, these HU's talk to the CANbus though so if camera is activated in the menu it should be looking to switch in reverse
