I have an aftermarket Kenwood stereo, and have recently been thinking about getting a MFSW as my normal one has worn leather all over the place (ans isnt Multifunction!)
Would this work, or is it too much hassle?
Thanks

I am pretty sort there are some convertors available for this, but expect these won't be cheap as the Golf uses Can Bus.

Taken from Kenwood's website: -
Golf V/Jetta/EOS
Without 'Star' button 2005 ----> Part No. = CAW-VW1281
Golf V/Jetta/EOS
With 'Star' button
including bluetooth operation 2007 ----> Part No. = CAW-VW1530
Look like there are around 80 Euro's from a quick search.

Thanks dude,
Think I will throw a bid in, can just use it as a normal steering wheel and then get the MF fitted when got the other parts fitted,
You guys really know how to help out! :happy2:

Yes, this can be added to the headunit after install once you have the MultiFunction wheel :happy2:

Just realised that the wheel I was bidding on is from a GT, Does anyone know how that is different to the GTI wheel, apart from the GT/GTI badge?

Oh yeah, not too keen on it now, also looks like the actual wheel part doesnt have the bulges in like the GTI one.
