Looking forward to Saturday as I have my standard 140 tdi going in for a stage 1 remap!
-
You will love it after the remap.
-
Your going to the rite place Niki @ RTech
-
Can't wait! Maxitrol I have just had a quick glance at your build thread and am a massive fan! Do you have any pics of the boot once carpeted with the vw logo in? And what mods did you need to get the car to be mapped to 200BHP?

thanks for the kind comments on my car :happy2:The boot build will be getting done next month and i willp ost some pics up for you,I had fitted the full milltek and removed the cat on mine to get near 200bhp but that is really pushing the stock turbo to its limits and lot tuners wont do that as they dont last as i found out and now diesels have to have cats on for the mot now if fitted from new :signLOL:Nicks map are brilliant and loved mine when he did it
-
This is starting to become an expensive hobby! :signLOL:
-
i wasn't going to mod mine much
-
I can confirm after about 7 dyno runs of constant tweaking Niki managed to work his manage and get my awkward old girl to 180BHP! :jumping: Apparently she struggled as for some reason it wouldn't suck in enough air  I highly recommend r tech to anyone who wants any tuning done on their car, all the guys were really friendly and Niki definitely knows his stuff! The car feels completely different the power just doesn't stop coming! New tyres might come next as I don't think these are going to last long! Anyway enough chat! Here's the final results with some pics of it on the dyno and a cheeky pic of it on the drive!

good results : :congrats:
-
Clutch then tyres :signLOL: Enjoy your new power
-
then it will be brakes-welcome to the modding bug :signLOL:
-
cheers guys loving the support! :signLOL: I was hoping the next expense would be a set of shiny ch's but it looks like I might be waiting a while before I can afford them! To be honest It's looking like I'll be living off of beans on toast for the next year!
-
next is Lowering
-
Great curves! You must be very pleased with that. It looks like the stock feel has been retained, just a whole load more power & torque :drinking:
-
Lowering will come after the ch's! Thanks! The biggest difference is how the power doesnt stop coming if that makes sense? It feels like a petrol as the power keeps building whereas before you would get an initial surge then the power would drop just after 3000 rpm
