Hi Guys,
I really want to brighten up the interior of the Golf Gti. I will be collecting it early next week, and wanted to get these bulbs in so I can change them over fairly quickly.
I know this has been asked a number of times, but I cant seem to find exactly what I'm looking for.
Is there a definitive list of LED bulbs I need in order to completely change the interior lighting. This includes the vanity mirrors, boot, and glove box.
If not could any of you guys post a list along with the sizes/type of bulbs needed? I would also be interested if any of you guys knew of a kit which was available which had all of the bulbs required.
Thanks in advance,
Faz

***We have recently found out that some MK5's have an extra bulb in the front map light.
We think this could be just certain years of the TDI models that have 3 bulbs instead of 2, but please check.
If so you MUST inform Matt on your email, and order 1 extra 36mm Festoon LED.
Big thanks to Dodds-GTtdi for the info***
Followed this guide for the install.

I bought the set from Matt a week or 2 ago, really good service.
They were posted on the day I paid and delivered the next day and fairly easy to install. Just make sure you disconnect the battery or the fuse when doing it as I managed to blow the fuse whilst changing mine.

I just ordered the full set off Matt.

I ordered mine from Matt too, he was spot on.
I used this link for help in fitting, but its pretty straight forward.

Hi bud,
Yeap, not missed a beat since the day I fitted them. Still look the muts nuts at night time when you unlock the car, especially in a multi storey carpark.

oh no I see another purchase related to this forum....
what side lights do you have?
-
^^^^ Have just had Xenons fitted with standard sides at the mo, have bought a few sets of LED sides to try of eBay, all say they are Error free and bright as hell but we will see, I want the bluey/white look of the xenons.
Not fitting them until I have the Bi-xenon bit done as they are a PITA to fit as I have sausages for fingers!
