Title: iPhone 5 not playing music on RCD 510, even with new cable, update needed?

Just bought a new genuine iPhone 5 adaptor lead from the forum for the missus car, it has an RCD 510.

When plugged in it just charges the phone doesn't play the music.

Is this something that can be fixed with an firmware update on the RCD?

Or is it possible to update the MDI?

And mastery how do I do this? Lol

And I've searched already! Just find updates for RNS!
