Just fitted some in combo with Bilstein B4 Sport dampers , looks great and yes it's stiffer but in a good way , certainly no crashiness and feels great on the road.

They're very popular, a common damper used with them is the Koni FSD, reviews say they retain almost stock comfort but much better handling. You can run standard dampers, but they will wear quicker.

Yeh these are pretty decent. I have them with koni str.t's. Ride is good and handling better but I think I need new bushes so preventing it from being even better. I would say you will more than likely wish you were lower..(like me) 65mm drop would have been perfect for me. If u plan on getting some maybe just save up for some decent coilovers...!

Would a set of coilovers not give me a crashy ride?

Depends on how much you spend I guess...search for some reviews on AP Coilovers or Apex RDX which are more than the Joms etc but not too expensive

What are the H&R springs like? They go a bit lower?
