*just so you guys know that even when ur work at a stealer, they still piss you off!* lol
judder judder judder..
so booked gordan in for 1st longlife today for monday and thought it be a good time to re check judder that is still present..
guy had a quick check of it today as we were short on work.. and his diagnosis... AIR ASS METER!!!!!!
ggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
after thats what i told them it was after mark at vw racing said it may be on that rollingt road day!!!!!
-
So is it fixed now then Caz
-
nope..
dont know if can ge tit replaced, as cant actually PROVE its faulty yet..
having a word with my manager on monday, see what he says...
:fighting:
-
dealer mechanics :sad1: can't they take it of another one and try it on yours
-
yeah, they done that yest..
took car out last night and does seem to be alot better, but is still a small judder at times, but not half as much as before..
but they car they took it off is older than mine and done way more mileage, so a newer part may cure it..
BUT..
we still have the prob of claiming under warranty, as guided fault finding doesnt prove the part be faulty..
GRRRRRRRRRR
-
how much is it? i can almost guarantee a new one will cure it. they are a b1tch for going, and were in the mk4.
it was only about £40 quid for a new one. Maybe best buying a new one then pursuing the claim with a healthy Gordon?

is just annoying that after meeting mark and talking to you guys, i came back and told them here thqt thats what i though tit was and they all shot me down..
gonna have a word with mr manager.. make him a few coffees...lol

Our Knowledge on things like this is not be dissmissed.
A VW techie will have the attitude that all people on forums like this know jack sh*te, but that really is not the case! lol

Have they actually hooked up their tablet VAS5052, and actually tried some live datalogging of the MAF readings?
