Title: Just bought my first Golf GTi :)

Hi all, just recently bought my first Golf GTi DSG mk5 and i love it, got tinted windows and black VW badges on it already! I'm after upgrading the lights to HID anybody got any suggestions ? also thinking about mapping it to stage one, heard R-tech are the best for that is this true ?

I think your best bet for the 'HID' would be OEM Xenons? There's plenty of info about them on the forum, have a look on the search function, I'm sure you'll stumble upon some useful stuff!

As for the remaps, I don't know cause I haven't got one, but I'll be going to R-Tech when I do!  :party:

Welcome mate, genuine xenon's or xenon lookalikes they look the part and light up the road well. Plenty of tuning companies out there but i'd go with Revo, APR or R-Tech. :worthless:

thanks, are they just bulbs or do i need projectors and ballast with them ?

Depends what your considering getting? Genuine xenon's or xenon lookalikes.

I've just put mtec cosmos blue in ATM they are lookalikes but don't have a great output. Do genuine exeons need projectors and stuff ?
