If the car is black i'd personally go with anthracite :happy2: I also recognise that MK3 in Sug's signature from around Aycliffe

Yep anthracite for me think black disguises the wheels features.

Not sure who mk3 is as it was at a VAG meet, strange as I'm from Aycliffe

That's Naths/Greeners old car isn't it?

Personally Grey or lighter on a Black car. Gloss black can look smart on lighter colours but ETTO  :happy2:

Black on Black on an RS6 for example can look a hoot  :driver:

Im from Darlington.. Just guessed it was from Aycliffe as I'm sure i've seen it on the road from Darlington to Aycliffe when i used to do work in Aycliffe.. :happy2:

Back to the topic though.. Black on black in my opinion will look lost.. Anthracite or perhaps something out there like gold as a few others have said or have a look to a local wheel refurber and see what they can offer? Might be able to get something you've never thought of or even seen if you tell them your after something unique?..

Agreed!
Or a bright BBS type silver on a black car.

A bit of contrast required either way!

Yup it’s a Photoshop but it was just to get an idea of what it would be like, as I couldn't find anything closer already done…

You weren't wrong! I now just have to decide whether to go with the safe option of anthracite or be bold and go gold...
