Title: ESP and ECP issue.

Hi guys,

I was driving along last night, and all of a sudden I had the 2 lights on in my dash. no prior warning etc. The ECP one went away after a little while, and the ESP light went out after leaving it parked and coming back after an hour or so.

I did not experience any difference in the performance in the car, be it accelerating or braking. Can any of you guys shed any light on this?

p.s. the car is a MY07 Golf GTi, 5 door, Manual.

My first thought would be to have it scanned with VCDS

Post up the results, then I'm sure someone will offer sound advice about the scan DTCs and your best way forward! :happy2:
