Help please!
Mk5 golf gti
At the moment I have:
Stage 1
Milltek cat back - non res (due next week)
Panel filter
New diverter, PVC etc
I am aware of the second lamba, is there a way round it to stay stage 1 i.e. angled piece or do I have go stage 2
Can someone clarify the issue please
Thanks

Course you can decat your car & stay stage 1, just might through up a light on the dashboard.

That's what I'm thinking, how do I get around that?

Have your tuner map it out mate?

Only at MOT time

I used an angled o2 sensor extension.
Its been on my Tb decat blueflame exhaust over a week now & no light, so fingers crossed.

It doesn't cause any over fuelling problems just want to get this on ready for the other bits to go on but want a bit more sound and as got another year till mot time.

Just make sure you keep you original cat once removed then bolt it on for MOT time.

Ye that's the plan but would it use more fuel

Will you use more fuel after having a decat pipe? Depends on your driving style really as I'm sure you will use your heavy foot more often to hear the exhaust through gears.
